Did anyone start this with a viral infection

The beginning of my health issues began with the Epstein Barr virus.  On top of that I test positive for two bacterial infections.  I would imagine all three of these are affecting my histamine levels. 

Anyone else start this histamine journey with something similar?

I can tell you that most of the people I have spoken to have had some kind of viral illness. I, till recently and perhaps still have, a childhood virus that lies dormant in about 60% of the population. Except mine reactivated! I'm fine now...

Even weirder, when I was coming off antihistamines, I broke out in what looked like hand foot and mouth virus (another kid's one). Adults usually don't get it...it was horrific! I've never been in so much pain. I was terrified at first because I thought I was having a serious allergic reaction in my throat. Look up the pictures online, it's pretty scary looking in the throat.

Other common ones are EBV (you're not alone!), HPV and Herpes...

Wow, very interesting. 

I've read of two people who got rid of the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, completely, after using DAO supplements and a low histamine diet.

Let me see if I can dig up the website were I read this.  I believe it was on some CFS forum.  Let me get back to you on that.

I got Mono back in 2011 and have never been the same. I now have severe cystic acne (or what appears to be), itchy crawling skin, severe fatigue, memory loss, tingling of my hands and feet, low body temp, hair falling out....I am miserable.
